What type of stitches can the Boston Monotype do?

The Boston Monotype can do stab stitches, saddle stitches and ordinary stitches. It runs off stitcher wire from a reel.

 

What thickness stitching wire can it use?

You can get various stitching wire, recommended stiching wire is 0.5mm


What does the stitcher do exactly?

A stitcher forces metal into paper to create the shape of a staple.


Is the stitcher manually operated?

You put the page in and press the pedal and it automatically stitches but the process of putting the paper onto the machine and pressing the go button is manual.


Why would I need a twin headed stitcher?

A twin headed stitcher means you can do booklets in one pass as opposed to doing two seperate passes.
